MOOC eTwinning MOOC eTwinning Últimas noticiasTeacher Academy de School Education Gateway lanza a nivel europeo el MOOC “Open eTwinning: Project-Based Learning and the Community for Schools in Europe” el próximo 5 de noviembre de 2018.
“Open eTwinning” is back!
MOOC eTwinning MOOC eTwinningRegistration for the second edition of the MOOC “Open eTwinning” is now open. This course is a perfect starting point for those who are interested in getting to know and understand all the possibilites eTwinning offers. The whole MOOC is delivered and run in English, so along the activities you will have the opportunity to get in contact with participants from other countries and ti will be easier to meet possible partners to put your ideas into real practice.
After the completion of the activities, you will have designed a project which addresses at some of your professional necessities and interests, integerating concepts of project-based learning and collaborative work; you will have browsed “eTwinning Live” and got to know its possibilities as a social and professional development network for teachers; you will have share your project idea with other participants and will have improved it after receiving their feedback and inspiration.
You can register from now to the end of the course. Activities will be starting on April 20th and finishing on June 2nd. Free registration can be made at:

Online Panel Discussion: And now, what?
MOOC eTwinningThe Spanish National Support Service has offered, among their teacher training activities, the MOOC “Open eTwinning”. The experience is being quite satisfactory; almost 1500 teachers from different countries are interacting and exchanging ideas. On Thursday June 9th, as part of the MOOC’s activities, a panel discussion was broadcast in YouTube and Google+, with the participation of the National Support Services most represented in the MOOC: Irene Pateraki (Greece), Massimiliano D’Innocenzo (Italy), Rita Zurrapa (Portugal), Nataša Jerković (Serbia) and Diego Rojas (Spain). The discussion items were decided by the MOOC participants, who published their questions and doubts on Facebook and Twitter, with the hashtag #etwinquest. If you missed it, you can see it at:

MOOC “Open eTwinning”
MOOC eTwinningFrom May 5th, you can register in the MOOC “Open eTwinning”. Would you like to try a different way of getting familiar with the eTwinning platform? Then, join the course. Activities will start on May 18th and will finish on June 29th; 6 weeks for 5 units. The course will be fully developed in English, so you will be able to meet and interact with colleagues form other countries. Throughout the activities we will see and work with the fundamentals of eTwinning. We will look at the entire life cycle of a project, starting with the initial idea, including finding a partner and negotiations to design a common project and up to implementation. We will include principles of project work and collaboration, as well as the educational use of various ICT tools.
