The most common causes are:
eTwinning groups are private platforms that allow members to chat and work together on a specific topic. Its aim is for people participating in eTwinning to share examples, discuss teaching methods and find support for their professional development.
Groups are excellent spaces for developing long-term collaborative work between teachers.
Any eTwinning user can request the creation of a group, but they have to pass the filter of the Central Support Service, which ultimately decides whether the request is approved.
There are closed and open groups. Any eTwinning user can join or leave an open or public group. Closed groups do not offer that possibility. You can only access if you are invited.
There are eTwinning moderator groups, each group prepares activities and tasks to discuss and carry out. Topics range from language teaching or entrepreneurship in education to science, technology, engineering or mathematics. To join an eTwinning group is very simple, just log in to your eTwinning desktop, go to the “Groups” section and access it from there. You can access groups from the eTwinning desktop at any time.
Collaboration forums are designed to let/find partners to carry out future projects, collaborations or associations.
The search engine allows you to search the forums for possible partners, using keywords that reflect your interests (CLIL, STEM…) and the filters that appear in the advanced search: age, language, country…
This space contains the virtual professional development opportunities offered by eTwinning across Europe.
There are two online training modalities: didactic meetings and seminars.
Didactic meetings are intensive and dynamic courses that serve to present a topic, stimulate creativity, help develop skills and do not require a long-term commitment.
Online seminars are one-hour videoconference sessions in which we can learn, talk and debate about different topics.
