They are a recognition given to teachers for their work and effort in eTwinning projects.
Only four projects per teacher are evaluated. It is a decision at the European level and affects all participating countries. Even if a teacher applies for the Seal for more than four projects, only the first four applications will be taken into account. As a tip, choose the projects that best fit the eTwinning quality concept.
The application is only eligible for the current or next course.
In case of denial of the Seal, you can request it again in a single second application. You must clearly indicate which subcriteria should be reviewed and indicate exactly where the evidence that justifies that review is located.
In projects with several Spanish teacher partners, applications must be submitted one month from the first application made.
If you already have your registration, the request for the National Quality Seal is made by entering this link:
https://school-education.ec.europa.eu/en/etwinning/projects
and clicking on this button that appears on that page.
If you have any technical problem or cannot view it, write your incident to asistencia.etwinning@educacion.gob.es with a screenshot and the link to your project.
A set of five criteria to evaluate project quality.
There are situations in which teachers carry out several projects during the school year and request the National Quality Seal for all of them. This calls into question what quality really is: a well-thought-out project idea executed according to the five criteria of the evaluation rubric.
We advise you to read this information carefully to choose the projects that best fit the quality criteria.
In the image on the right are the different recognition paths after obtaining the National Quality Seal.
If you are participating in an eTwinning project, it comes to an end, and you believe that the proposed objectives have been achieved, request the competent educational administration to recognize said participation in hours or credits.
First consult the procedure in your Autonomous Community or in the Ministry of Education and Vocational Training, as appropriate.
