Parliament on the move: building democracy in the Classroom

Description of the activity

The project Parliament on the Move: Building Democracy in the Classroom proposes an educational experience based on simulation and cooperative work between schools in different countries. Through active methodologies and digital environments, students are introduced to the values of participation, respect and commitment to solving current social challenges.

The aim of this learning situation is for students to become active participants in an International School Parliament, developing democratic and citizenship skills through debate, teamwork and collaborative decision-making. Throughout the project, students learn to communicate their ideas with respect, to value cultural diversity and to get involved in improving their environment from a critical, creative and committed perspective.
