Inspector Green is an eTwinning project on the environment carried out between schools in Poland, Slovenia, Turkey, Greece and Spain with pupils aged between 5 and 11.
It’s an interdisciplinary project, during which pupils worked on content related to the environment using English, the use of ICT tools, literature and art. We should highlight the active and collaborative methodology of the project, which has encouraged critical thinking and collaborative work.
Its implementation has made it possible to work on all the key competencies, emphasizing communication in English, basic competence in science and technology, digital competence, learning to learn, social and civic competencies and cultural awareness and expression.
A noteworthy aspect was the collaboration and ongoing documentation of the project by participating teachers, updating the project journal after addressing each phase and sharing a calendar in Google Docs and a virtual wall in Padlet, where programming of the different project activities was organized.
Students also worked collaboratively on common subjects and activities in both national and international teams and the end products were uploaded to TwinSpace: creating and voting on the project logo and mascot; creation among all partners of a story to record a video around and, finally, publishing a digital book; conducting research on responsible energy consumption at their school and sharing it among partners schools.
The TwinSpace was used to both organize the material that was being created and to communicate between partners. As for external tools, pupils used various presentation tools like Glogster, Movie Maker, Issu, Smilebox, VOKI, Photovisi.

We should also emphasize the dissemination of the project in a local context. In the Spanish school, pupils represent the story created with their European partners to the rest of the school community and make a presentation telling how the project developed through group reflections.The project is also disseminated through local radio.
